My work is all about the vulnerability of human and animal life.
It is also about the beauty of stones scatterded everywhere haphazardly, waiting for the moment they can tell their story. The earth’s history lives through them. I find this fascinating, not only visually, but as an idea as well.

I try to make the toughness of the earth into something caressable, almost soft to the touch and connect that to the harsh and untouchable quality of fate. Doing that I use classical mythology as a vehicle because it so eloquently elaborates on this same unavoidable fate.
